Pezzo’s is an old favorite of mine because the food is great, it has a nice view of the clock tower, and it’s in a prime location. This is a Newmarket favorite and is popular so you will have to book most nights to get a table. The dress code is smart casual to formal.
There are great wines to choose from and the desserts are decadent. Other than the desserts, my favorites are the grilled goat’s cheese for a starter and chicken gorganzolla for an entrée.
Service is hit or miss and parking can be a pain but nonetheless it is still a hit.

So we sat down at Prezzo Newmarket for dinner at 5.30… We’re still here and not by choice. We’ve been ignored by the waitress assigned to our section and waited ridiculously long for our courses. Not bad food but avoid this place like the plague should you expect to eat in a timely manner and be served by competent staff. We’ve had to flag down a member of staff when we wanted to order initially, when we wanted dessert and when our ice cream was finally given to us (23 minutes after ordering) we had to request cutlery as apparently eating with a clean spoon is a rarity.
We’ve had one drink each during our entire meal and are so eager to leave we won’t even wait for the check — we may just be here all night if we do. Going to the till to pay and complain now.

J’ai adoré ce resto italien dans le centre de Newmarket.
Le lieu est grand, vraiment très beau (je né sais pas s’il s’agit d’une chaine.)
La carte est bien fournie.
Nous avons pris des pizzas, risotto et des pâtes et avons très bien été servis.
J’ai adoré la formule dessert: soit on prend un dessert de taille normale, sinon ils proposent d’avoir le dessert en taille mini accompagné d’une boisson chaude.
Parfait quand on vient de se faire une plâtrée de pâtes.
Ouvert le dimanche, le resto était bien fréquenté, une très bonne soirée !

Probably my favorite place to go to for Italian. I haven’t tried anything other then the pizza so this review is based off the pizza.
My go to order is the Bianca. It comes with delicious and warm goat’s cheese, grilled courgettes, semi-​dried tomatoes, mozzarella, tomato. I highly recommend this dish, it is my favorite one. Always made to order and it comes out perfect every single time.
I always start off with an order of marinated olives.
Service is always great and friendly.
It is good to make a reservation.
Note: If you order a mix drink for instance a Jack and Coke, they will charge you separately for the Jack and the Coke, so I usually go with a small white wine or tap water.

Situated close to the clock tower in Newmarket means you have to park in the multistorey but its worth the effort. Good service, friendly atmosphere and a good choice of food and wine. I chose ‘off piste’ and went for salmon which was tasty and delicious. The kids thought the pizza was great and there was no problem with putting the extra left over in a doggy bag. In summary — well worth a visit.

Prezzo’s in Newmarket has become a favourite of mine. The food is great and the service good. It is an Italian chain of restaurants, and does great pizza and pasta. We have often visited with friends and ordered a large mix of starters/​mains and shared the dishes between us. The food is great quality and extremely tasty. The atmosphere is good, the dining area is not too bright and has a romantic feel to it. They have a good range of wines available and the prices are not too high. In summary a great place to go for a dinner with friends, or a romantic evening out. It will not break the bank and you will definately enjoy your evening. Staff are busy but efficient and friendly. Worth a visit. I would definately recommend booking your table prior to visiting as it does get quite busy — especially at the weekend.
