W H Smith

i dont have a problem with w h smith as such except they are usually a tad more expensive then hmv, etc. the problem i have with this shop is that it is too small and is all crammed in tight. not a particularly enjoyable shopping experience.

Could this be the smallest w h smiths in the country? maybe! but it has plenty of staff and good service. the main lines are there — i.e. books, top dvds, newspapers and a small stationery selection, but if you want massive choice in any of these fields, you pretty much are going to have to shop online or travel to truro. I love that you can get the store to stock in your wierd magazine selection though and pick it up when you pop in town. W H Smiths usually has some deals on too — half price books, etc, but if I’m honest I wonder why people still bother — everything is available cheaper online with no exception. It’s even usually cheaper to buy it online at smiths own website which offers free delivery on all products.
