amazing place, buy loads of my stuff, tends to be a good price but the odd thing seems too expensive, suits alll taste: rock, metal, classical, pop, reggae, dance etc, all the staff are really nice and really expensive. Also has a lot of t-​shirts, posters and DVD’s

expensive cd/​dvd shop, placed perfectly in town but competing with W H smiths, music is also so loud you cannot think. It is situated next to a bank and opposite wimpy, it is overpiced and they always do deals over xmas and bank holidays to draw people in. DVDs can be bough from the top title list but thats quite limited stock. Staff dont tend to be very friendly and can be quite scruffy

Great little shop at the centre of newton abbot high street.

the only shop of this kind in newton abbot apart from whsmith which sells simillar things but at higher prices.
Phoenix sounds is recommended to eveyone, friendly owner and great products.
Always has special offers in the window and has brand new items on the day of the releases.
