Never publicised or mentioned, I reckon people are trying to keep daft eddies to themselves. Its not the easiest to get to, you definitely need a car for this one or get someone to drive you there. Its a quiet relaxing spot on its own small island with ruins of a castle «a very small one» best times to go are the weekend or evenings where you can sit out and enjoy the scenery or have a walk along the road past the old light ship and walk your dinner off. Beautiful spot either for a meal or just for a drink. Worth exploring if your just looking a drive somewhere too.

Home style restaurant and pub with an incredible view over the lake. Great outdoor and indoor seating areas. Stopped in for a pint after a hike around part of island.

A restaurant with a great water front location, right next to the marine with panoramic views of the lough. Very good food and great for a family day out. The lightboat house is only a stones throw away and is also well worth a visit.

ok it’s in Killinchy but this thing wont recognize Killinchy
Such an amazing restaurant. the pic might not show it but its actually got a really pleasant warm atmosphere. The food is amazing, although there’s not always a great variety. Reasonable prices, definitely worth a visit. or three.
