Used to be great now it’s very poor. They’ve just revamped it and its awful. Too stuffed with rubbish especially the new vegetable section. Feels like you’re going into Waitrose, which Morrisons certainly isn’t. They seem to have lost touch with who their customers are. They should’ve spent more money cheering up miserable staff who can’t be bothered to find things for you within the new arrangement of items. Bye Morrisons, hello Sainsburys!

Sadly this store was built on a lovely green space that was well loved by the locals. I suspect some political shenanigans. I therefore refuse to use it.

What can I say about Morrisons that hasnt been said already really. Big selection, everything you could need for the usual weekly shop, aswell as a videos section and a big selection of magazines and newspapers. Its easily accessible with a nice big free car park, with a few things near by for those lazy nights, like Blockbusters and Dominoes pizza. Sorted.

This is sizable branch of Morrisons, based in between Tyne mouth and North Shields, on the opposite side of the road to the fire station. This is a good sized store and I always enjoy shopping here. There’s loads of free parking and also a petrol station. There is an instore bakery which has some realy tasty stuff on offer. Also a seperate pie shop, fish counter and the fruit and veg is always fresh. I have to admit I love all the offers they have and take it as an oppotunity to stock up whilst cheap. They do the usual cds ad dvds ect also magazines and newspapers and they do have a tobacco stall as well. One of my more favoured supermarkets.

I like Morrisons supermarkets for value, quality and choice and though this is a bit out of the way for me I like to come here and shop, especially at holiday time or when I’m stocking up. There’s plenty of free parking and it’s conveniently located. The choice is excellent and the shop well laid out and always well stocked, even at busy periods near Christmas. The special offers are good and the quality of the fresh meat, fruit and vegetables and fish is superb. There is a café which serves hot food as well as snacks, sandwiches, cakes and drinks and is a pleasant place to prepare for the shopping or recover from it! Service can be a bit slow at times for the hot food but it’s tasty and portions are large. Their big breakfasts are fab! There’s a good range of CDs, DVDs and magazines and plenty of tills so it doesn’t suffer too much from long queues unless at extraordinarily busy times.

This branch of Morrisons(Tynemouth/North Shields) is located on busy Preston North Road. It is situated in a highly populated area of the town which makes it easy for many to walk to and is also easily accessed by bus and by car. It has plenty of free parking spaces, ATM’s and also a petrol station. The supermarket itself is relatively large, offering a huge range of both fresh and packaged produce, flowers, toiletries, stationery, books, cd’s, dvd’s etc. I love Morrisons for its bargains, there are always plenty of special offers(buy one get one free etc) and coming up to Christmas they even have buy one get TWO free offers fantastic! This branch doesn’t have its own pharmacy however it is located beside other shops which include a chemist, post office, newsagents, Dominoes Pizza and Blockbuster Video store. There is a smaller Morrisons branch a couple of miles down the road in Whitley Bay which has a pharmacy and also a photo developing service.
