Barkers is a traditional furniture store which sells good quality well made furniture. It is just on the outskirts of the town on the way to the trading estates so is well located and has quite a bit of parking available at the front of the store. It is a huge glass fronted building so is very nice and airy. There is a huge choice of furniture for the lounge and dining room downstairs, and upstairs there are beds and bedroom furniture, lighting, mirrors, rugs, curtains etc etc. Once you have browsed and made your purchases, there is also a café upstairs selling lovely cakes and scones. The staff in all departments are really helpful and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
