The Belle Vue has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, with a good selection of ales and vegetarian options. The food is a decent price but don’t expect too much for what you are paying. Had a veggie burger with generous portions but is more suited to a Wetherspoons style pub. Pints are a reasonable price but bottled beers are a bit steep. Wine choices are limited and of a poor quality.
Overall stay for the décor and staff but pop to the chippy down the road before hand.

The Bellevue is a lively and entertaining place to have a drink. The «Bobby Dazzler» quiz on Tuesdays (8.30pm) is great fun, that Bobby is a little saucy but it’s all good japes. They do some nice traditional pub food; it isn’t gastropub, but what you get is a good amount of stodge to wash down with their good selection of drinks. Their Early Bird special (order before 7.30) is fantastic value too, so why not make a night of it? They have sport on a giant projector, so think night with mates rather than quiet night with a loved one…

Located on Stafford st in the Earlham Road side of the Golden Triangle. The Belle Vue is very popular with students and after work drinkers who flock there to take advantage of their early bird food prices, where you can get most of their meals with a couple of quid knocked off.
The pub itself is roomy and there is always a good atmosphere. A nice size beer garden with a purpose built shelter for smokers is a plus.
Worth a visit especially if you are hungry!
