Had to set the record straight since this was last reviewed in 2009. It is a fantastic family pub and restaurant with great food and drink. Superb garden for children and lots of real ale on tap too.

Although the drinks are expensive, there were several youths in there although they were all well behaved. The live music from Lee Vasey was loud and I feared that the landlord would get complaints from the neighbours. Those already received meant that outside tables behind and at the side of the pub could not be used after 2200 hrs
