One of four outlets in Norwich. This branch is located on the left side of St. Stephens, just before WHSmoths. They generally have a sandwich board with special deals advertised in the door. It’s quite a small branch but worth popping up to incase the other branches have sold out of that must have game. They are currently offering 20% extra if you trade in and have the credit put on one of their gift cards. They offer student discount but only if you have one of their loyalty cards. These cost is the region of £3. Every time you purchase from them you earn points which equate to money off a future transaction. They have a section of preowned games where you may discover a bargain.

This is a farly small game store so during busy times can be very packed. They sell games for all types of cosoles as well as merchandise and accessories. The staff are very knowledgable and are always happy to help. I know nothing about computers so when I buy games for my partner the staff always know what to reccommend and unlike some shops it is not the most expensive one it is the one that matches my requirements to the T.

The St Stephens street Game store is one of four in Norwich, which either confirms gaming as the greatest popular entertainment form of the 21st century, or that Norwich is chock full of nerds. A weekend visit to any of the norwich shops quickly reveals that while they are consistently rammed with people, those people aren’t nerds. Unless nerds = all males and females between the ages of 8 and 50. Game stores always have knowledgeable staff and being the biggest specialist chain in games, the best range. Good deals on all console bundles are to be had, and their trade in and preowned games section helps reduce the seizure inducing prices of new titles.

This has to be one of the most popular places for anyone loving their games console. Inside it has nearly every accessory for whatever type of console you have especially if it’s XBOX360, psp, ps3 or nintendo ds. They sell all the chart titles for each format aswell as pre-owned games for cheaper. This shop always seems quite busy especially at weekends but it’s even busier if people are queing for a new release. The staff that work here are able to give you information about all the games they stock and offer advice on consoles too. Sometimes though I have been in looking for a game as a gift and found that the same game can be purchased elsewhere for slightly cheaper. This shop though is situated two thirds of the way down St Stephens Street on the left hand side and it’s not that big compared to other shops along here. This then gives the impression that it’s always busy here because of the lack of room.

This is one of the best places to visit if you’re wanting xbox 360, ps2 and ps3 games. They sell all the top titles and chart games as well as a great selection of pre owned titles. This store sells all the accessories for you gaming needs too. Most of the items they sell here are good prices although these days you can often get the newest games elsewhere for cheaper. They staff they employ here are always happy to help and can always recommend a game for you or for a friend if it’s a gift. They always have good stock levels and although this shop is not that big it is really awkward to get a pushchair in if it’s busy especially at the weekends. They advertise all the new games with a tv that plays clips of them.
