Spudulike

A great healthy alternative if you are shopping and feel like a little meal.
You can choose from loads of differnet fillings, from the traditional cheese or coleslaw to something hot and spicey like chilli.
You can pay extra and have more that one filling if you wanted. I really liked their tuna and sweetcorn filling. They are generally quite generous with the fillers.
You can do different meal deals with the drink if you aren’t bringing your own with you.
They have a funky green and blue colour scheme with plastic trays and cuttlery.
They have a small selection of bottle drinks or you can have dispensed fizzy flavours from a pump.
If they are very busy you can use the other seating near by.

this is a good enough spud-​u-​like. has the usual: spuds, fillings etc. i think what makes chains like these different are the staff, location and seating area.
there is an ok seating area — although saying that if it is busy there is an additional chapelfield seating area towards the escalators.
the staff are ok — could be better! I was alone with my baby, then in a buggy. there was a wait for my meal. i sat down in the only available seat, and put her in a highchair. they shouted to me it was ready, and I had the choice of sticking a (wrigging and squirming) baby on my hip and hope that I could handle the tray single handed, or leave her unattended. thankfully, i saw a friend and asked her to sit with my girl whilst i went and collected my tray.
i dont think a bit of common sense would have gone astray and the tray could have been bought closer to me. ok, they were busy, i accept that but its hardly difficult!
i tend to use castle mall for spuds if i eat out in either shopping centre

Good for a quick meal when you are in the city. There’s never much of a queue and you know exactly that you are going to get.
Always filling and better for you then going across the food court to KFC!

I’ve been here a couple of times in the past and have always been satisfied with what i’ve had.
They sell jacket potatoes with lots of different fillings available to choose from. I have never really had to que when i’ve been here unlike other food outlets nearby.
The prices aren’t that bad neither and knowing that it’s not that bad for you too is great.
It’s a good place to go if you want something different from a pizza or burger whilst you’re out shopping.
