If anyone wants to visit a traditional British pub that has no pretensions but offers good real ale at a reasonable price this is the place to go. It’s practically what I would class as your local but it’s just outside the city centre and it’s probably has been here as long as the city judging by some of the beams. Don’t expect jazzy or classy or crafty but theres a bit of folksy. It’s just a good old fashioned pub.
