Looks nice enough with large windows — sadly with view of their dustbins and graffiti’d walls. Cook books on the tables — all for sale. Pictures by local artists on the walls. Service was laid back(as advertised) but the veggi burger was vile — a soft orange blob like lighty toated bread sauce — ugh. Presented in a vile MaccyD type bun and the flat ‘chips’ were warm and soggy, rather than hot and crispy — bleugh. The croque monsiur was piping hot and very cheesy with nice thickish ham but the salad on both plates was soggy as if not spun after washing — and the dressing was all over — it should be optional(OK we forgot to ask but so did they) Finally, I couldn’t choose a hot drink so was offered a ‘surprise’ — which was a pleasant fruity ‘tea’ — the most expensive they have. So we decided to forego dessert and won’t return
