On my way home from my chemo appointment at NN&H today. Stuck in traffic. Took a short cut. Feeling hungry I saw this dinky little Fish and Chip shop called UK Fish and Chips. Very small inside. It had that authentic greasy smell that Fish and Chips shops used to have before they got all «respectable». I ordered a small Cod and Chips for 5 quid 40p and within 5 minutes I was out the door. That was waaaay too fast I thought and I was not expecting much. What a surprise when I got it home. Small!!! The fish was over a foot long, 4″ wide, thick juicy and perfectly cooked. The chips were pretty darned good too. This was Fish and Chips the way I remembered it from my childhood. Awesome! 5⁄5. Yeah I know its only Fish and Chips but there are too many places that can’t get it right.
