Always good food and service here. Can’t complain, although the chairs could do with back supports!

It is a great place to take your friends and family for a nice snack\ bite to eat. The service is just amazing, the food was served very quickly. I am 8 years old and think that it has a nice variety of children’s food on their menu and on the adults menu from the currys to the chicken and the fishes. Absolutely love the place but have only been there once with a friend! I really want to go again and take my mum and dad!

Went for a late meal in here, good and bad to be said, didn’t like the bench seating and it was way too cold in there last night, random people gawp through the floor to ceiling windows, my partners meal was brought out ten minutes before mine arrived. Not the kind of restaurant I’m into really, the food was good though and the staff were fast and friendly.

Great eatery and often go in here early evening. The staff are very quick even though service practise seems a bit muddled and fussy. The food is superb and the range is brilliant. A good variety and a fair price. Worth registering online with them for special offers too.

I love Wagamama. The whole nature of the slightly chaotic way dishes are delivered to your table when they are ready and the in house fruit juices that look odd bust taste great. Don’t expect a romantic table for two, as a table to two is two seats facing each other on a long bench table. The high chairs leave something to be desired as they are too clever for their own good and don’t work particularly well. Kids get children’s easy to use chopsticks. I’m sure the way Waga’s works isn’t for everyone, but if you like tasty, sometimes spicey food, then it’s well worth a try.

When Wagamama’s first opened in London it felt pretty exotic and unique. I remember visiting their Guildford branch and being impressed by the quality and healthiness of the food(when Japanese wasn’t in fashion). I’m glad it’s been brought to Norwich and the location is good — perfect for a light lunch while your shopping or for a pre or post theatre meal. But I can’t help thinking that it hasn’t really moved on with its concept and there are plenty of competitors out there who are catching up fast. What if I don’t want to share my meal with some random people next door? What if I don’t want my 16 year old server, who doesn’t know the menu, to scribble all over the piece of paper sitting in front of me? Why do they always sit everyone bunched together even though the restaurant is half full? Wagamama’s is the Pizza Express of the noughties — offering something a little bit risqué but in a safe environment. They need to update the menu and drop their prices and then I might visit more often.

Wagamama is a great concept. Bench tables, everyone piled in like sardines, elbow to elbow. The excellent thing about it is the fact that it’s so brilliantly healthy to eat. Noodles, soups, curries are all freshly cooked, usually steamed and always tasty. The downside of the place is that when it’s busy it’s really busy, and they never bring everyones food at once. So if you make a wrong choice you can end up waiting for your starter while your partner’s paying the bill. But they do do take aways, so if you’re living in the city centre it makes a an excellent local chinese

Wagamama’s in immense!!! Thank goodness it’s FINALLY come to Norwich. It’s just outside Chapelfied, so perfect once you have finished shopping. Yes, you have to share a table, but you don’t sit together squashed like sardines. The menu is varied and great value — the portions are HUGE. There is a little glossary to explain what’s what, so you dont end up ordered bit fat noodles when you actually want riceIn addition, its child friendly. An important fact to highlight! There are highchairs(although they are the type that are fixed to the table which scare me slightly as my toddler is known to wiggle) and changing facilities. Back tot he food. its great. I have been loads, outside of Norwich too, and ALWAYS order something different, just to see what its like. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed.

It is conveniently located at Chapelfield, although I always find it a bit intimidating with its floor to ceiling windows and the fact you share long tables with other groups of dinners. The food is all freshly cooked, which is nice, although some of it can be spicier than expected(yes, I fell for the how spicy could coconut soup be?) Overall, once you’ve got over the feeling of being watched from all angles, it is a good filling meal that offers value for money.

Once you get over the fact that you have to share your table with other diners, Wagamamas is a fantastic eating out experience on the edge of the Chapelfield shopping complex. This is ideally situated for pre-theatre dining. Offering oriental noodle food, wagamamas caters for vegetarians and meat eaters alike, providing fresh and healthy food that appeals to all sorts! The menu is vast and so you need to allow plenty of time to choose what you want so you don’t feel rushed. Their desserts are to die for, with a white chocolate and ginger cheesecake that has to be tasted to be believed. Sign up to the wagamamas website and they will often send you vouchers for BOGOF meals… although even without these, the prices are very reasonable.

Located just outside the Chapelfield shopping centre, just next to the church route in. There’s not much privacy as it’s wall to wall windows but you soon forget with the canteen atmosphere and great tasting food. They offer free green tea with your meal which is great for digestion. There can be an a small outdoor area if the weather shines on you. If you’ve not been before it can seem quite strange as you’ll get your food as soon as it’s freshly cooked. There’s no set interval between starter and main course. It generally works well so long as you don’t politely wait for your dining partner to tuck in. I really like the bread crumbed prawns they offer as a starter. If you can’t pronounce the course you want there are handy numbers.
