This restaurant brings some northern Italy specialties in London. In particular, food and wine here is sourced from Piacenza. I am from there so I was very curious to check it out. Our visit was very enjoyable. We had the classic cured meats and cheese platter along with some tasty«Gnocco Fritto»(a fried pastry that you just have to try… For example, put some Pancetta on top of it and prepare to be delighted). I’ve proceeded to try then the Primi, in particular the Tortelli. Now, I have very high expectations here… And I wasn’t disappointed. You can get them with butter or with a mushroom sauce that you can add on the side, in the traditional way. A small note on wine, please try the Gutturnio red wine which is made in the local valleys surrounding the city and goes well along with any savoury dish. To complete, some sbrisolona cake(with almonds) and an Espresso. I need to get back to try the meat!
