I loved the location of this boutique hotel– thoroughly modern and right in my fave London neighborhood. I even strolled over to Portobello market twice on my most recent stay there. My only gripes would be: 1) I visited a couple of weeks after they opened, and they were still training the staff, hence slower, spotty but friendly service. 2) And the walls are very thin. The rooms across from me kept slamming their door when I was trying to sleep(every min or so within a 20 min timeframe coz they were visiting the room across the hallway from them) and I finally had to step out in my pajamas to ask them to stop it. Annoying for a biz traveler. They should look into a mechanism that would slow the door shutting to prevent such an obnoxiously loud banging sound. Overall, a wonderfully remodeled townhouse just an easy walk from Notting Hill’s famed Portobello market, tons of eateries and Tube station.

In the opinion of Rhaune Lasletts family The Laslett hotel is very much the antithesis of her vision and view of the area and everything she strived to create. Rhaune fought to bring cohesion to a fractured community who lived in desperate conditions with no notion of designer dreams. The Laslett family wish it to be known that we do not under any circumstance support this product and have no connection, nor wish to with this establishment and regard it as yet another commercial exploitation of her legend and legacy.

Fantastic brand new property that finally delivers a boutique high-end townhouse hotel concept which was badly lacking in Notting Hill. Nothing but praise for this location, design and staff. They have truly thought about what you want for the perfect stay and delivered across the board. This is now where I’ll stay while in London — period. On a side-note there team is awesome and Tom leads that charge(and makes a mean cocktail).
