Britannia Hotel

I did not enjoy my stay here, the rooms were totally fine on the inside, but the service is bad. I paid £80 for a single nights stay which included breakfast, not too bad considering how well it was rated. However the parking is atrocious, at £9 (with the hotel discount) it’s a rip off and a horrible car park, however it does connect right to the hotel bar.
The hotel was full of chavs and party boys when we checked in, the service was slow and when we asked about the wifi we were told it didn’t work in rooms only in reception, however we later found out this was a lie and worked fine in our room.
The air con in the room didn’t work, so it was boiling all the time and really noisy!
The bed is on wheels for some damn reason so whenever you sit up against the head board it rolls forward, it’s horrible! The TV has a few good channels but it’s a very old tv and hard to make out anything dark on tv.
At 2am our neighbours decided to have a domestic and wake us up, the walls are super thin.
Only one elevator works and it’s tiny, so every morning at checkout time it’s heaving and you can rarely fit in it, so having to wait for one occasion where it’s empty enough to fit you in is annoying.
The breakfast was good, a nice buffet but no veggie alternatives or bacon. The cereal is off brand cheap crap that tastes like cardboard, avoid!
The view and location were fine, however the street noise so it is very loud if you open the window.
The toilet flush doesn’t work properly either.
I wouldn’t stay here again.

Está bastante bien para el precio que tiene, el personal es atento, está limpio y tiene una cafetería agradable.
Está bien situado, en cinco minutos a pie estás en pleno centro de Nottingham.

This place has seen better days, and this is evident in the photos in the literature at the reception desk. It is faded and worn, the staff are unhelpful and surly, the rooms are poorly maintained and our shower leaked from the waste hole, which is quite a feat! But, it was cheap and the central location were perfect for our needs
