Staff pleasant, with an air of Student or Sixth form about them,
occasionally a bit of attitude, but at the end of the day,
It’s a big local place which caters for large parties or small groups,
you know the food is pretty reliable when it’s all available and if it’s not
there will usually be something you’ll like,
plenty of offers, kid friendly, car park and easy access.

I have had the same dish for years, even though the menu has changed, Hunters Chicken or Blackened Chicken or whatever they are currently calling it is still there and it’s still nice but please just advertise it with chips rather than making me change the seasonable veg, I think everyone changes this option for chips. but seriously,

Mixed reviews. I dine in here often, for location easiness. It’s recently been renovated and looks amazing, however I think with the renovation the good standards dropped. I used to enjoy a meal here. Don’t get me wrong, the food is still lovely, but not every time. The service isn’t as good as it used to be now either. Last time I visited the Polish waitress was incredibly rude to me and my mother, very sharp and generally annoyed. My niece had her 5^th birthday party here and it was, in a word, terrible. We were promised all sorts and in the end they were stuck in a room with some oven chips, a few grapes, some chicken nuggets and a bowl of ice cream. at the end all thy got was a rubbish party bag!

This is a child friendly pub. Plenty of parking and a generally pleasat pub. It is reasonably priced and the food is good and delivered quite quickly. The tables are sometimes sticky and you have to ask for them to be cleaned.
