Superb meal, amazing surroundings, friendly service. About the only thing I could fault was the lighting which was a bit dim for my middle aged eyesight. I had the lamb as a main course and it was cooked to perfection for my taste, not too rare, not too well done. I believe the chef is Indian and I was very tempted by some of the more Indian dishes. There was a vegetarian in our party and they had plenty of choice. We went mid week so it wasn’t busy but we have tried just turning up for lunch at the weekend and we couldnt get in because it was full so it is advisable to book ahead. It was a special occasion so we pushed the boat out a bit, but 3 people, 3 courses, a bottle of wine and a pint of beer came to just over £100 which I thought was very reasonable
