On the land of fish and chips a great place for a Latin experience. Not only looks cool but has flavor and staff is nice.
A touch of many cultures is present and the highlight is the Rio de Janeiro sidewalk pattern on the bar tables.

Came here for works night out — 17 of us and they catered brilliantly. We pre ordered our food from the party menu (£18 2 course with cocktail) which has a great choice and the service was fab too. Cocktails and pitchers 2 for one until 7.30.

Las Iguanas was delicious! I went for the chicken burrito and it was amazing. Really fresh and full of flavour. I also treated myself to a Mojito and strawberry daiquiri which were both delicious too ;)
Great service too and so reasonably priced!
It’s quiet a big place but is buzzing with lots of people.
Really lovely. Would definitely visit again if in Nottingham in the future.

Love this place excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent music, excellent staff! I usually order THE EXTRAORDINARY XINXIM with Casava frys on the side and a selection of cocktails. I am a very fussy about my food and this place has never let me down it is most definitely my favorite restaurant in Nottingham.

Las Iguana’s isn’t something i miss when i don’t have it for a while. But sometimes i can be suprised by how much i enjoy it. However, this was not one of those times. Arrived as part of quite a large group (think there were about 8 of us) and we were seated in a booth. Service was very slow, and food arrived barely more than lukewarm. We paid up and left without dessert, and without leaving a tip (which is something i rarely do but that’s how poor the service was). Can’t say the experience has scarred me for life, as I know i’d go to Las Iguana’s again. But maybe I’ll just give this particular branch a miss.

I love this place. Never had brazilan food before. A bit reminiscent of Thai — cream spice, coconut. Staff are great, don’t be in a hurry.
Very lively atmosphere even on a weekday, but you can sit by yourself no worries.

Las Iguanas is yummy! I agree with the other reviewer that you wouldn’t think it was a chain, and the food is fresh and tasty. Good prices, too. If I wasn’t from California, where Latin food is especially A-​MAZ-​ING, I’m sure I could give this five stars.

This is an all round great place for me!
Atmosphere is always relaxed and never feel rushed when eating. The staff here are friendly and engage in (genuine) conversation and happy to make changes to cocktails/​food if wanted. The offers are great, with 2−4−1 cocktails every evening between 5 – 7.30 (when I tend to go!) Also they often have offers on the food, which is simple tasty Mexican fare.
Final note, I’ve been for a my birthday as well as other peoples and the birthday person has always got a complimentary cocktail!

Cheap fresh food in an excellent setting. Iguanas has it all. Nothing is ever too much trouble and staff are always friendly. You really wouldn’t think this was a chain as it does seem to have a personal touch. If you love food then head here.

I rate it 4 star because of interior design and atmosphere inside, I felt realx and it is nice, I went there with 3 friends, I did not enjoy the food but the rest were satisfied with the food, if you like mexican food it is a nice place for you actually it offers you latin foods, it is a lovely place I think, but I did not enjoy the food and service, staffs are careless,

Now this is a nice place to enjoy a Mexican meal. It’s even better if you are a student as they offer some really attractive deals for students on meals and drinks (especially the cocktails!).
We visited this restaurant recently on a Sunday evening and the service and food was simply excellent. It’s not too fancy, but they do what they do very well and the food was very enjoyable. I have tried to visit this restaurant on other occasions such as on a Saturday evening, but it was too busy and we couldn’t get a table. I would recommend that you go early.
