Pappas Restaurant

Really enjoyed the food served here, though I though it was a little pricey for the size of the portions. When we visited it was very quiet so the ambience wasn’t brilliant. The wait for our food was quite long aswell considering how quiet it was. I would return but maybe get a takeaway instead!

REALLY disappointed — I can’t believe this restaurant has so many good reviews on different websites. We arrived at eight, it took the staff ten minutes to offer us a drink, we ordered food and within ten minutes our food was on the table. Microwaved. Frozen veg — not fresh, too much ‘chicken tonight’ sauce. a slow cooked lamb which had no flavour. it was terrible. everything tasted like the previous days’ leftovers. We complained to the staff who didn’t even have the decency to apologise, offering us no compensation; a free drink, 10% off our bill — nothing. We had eaten and drunk our drinks within thirty minutes. TERRIBLE — there was NOTHING good about this restaurant, except that it had a door to leave through.

Pappas! Without a doubt my favourite restaurant in Notts. It’s in west bridgford not derby! Brilliant food, absolutely delicious. Me and my mum are always there we’re pretty much regulars! The staff are so friendly. I just can’t describe how amazing the food is, especially the greek mezze where they bring out course after course of different food. and later in the evenings at weekends the greek waiters do cypriot dancing which is a-​m-​a-​z-​i-​n-​g! ! So impressive! Brilliant for work nights out or nights out in a group cuz you can join in the dancing with them. On birthday’s if you let them know you get a plate and a flaming tequila!
