Since this place was last reviewed it has had a total make over, gone are the generic larger and alcopops and in come the micro brewed crafted beers.
The pub now has two lovely bars, the main room has a piano and plenty of seating. With a bar with plenty of hand pumps. The other is a really nice lounge with a snug, dominos and packs of cards available. On a nice day the courtyard is lovely dog friendly sun trap.
Beer is around £2.50-£3.50 a pint but is worth every penny. The staff are all lovely and the bathrooms are clean. What more can I say. Ooh try the pork scratchings.

Abit of a rough not a diamond. This pub has changed hands many times over the last few years and i must admit i havent ventured there for a while. Its slightly out of the town center, so not really worth a walk to it, no parking is available on site however. Its always been one of the smelly pubs that you walked past not stopped at to enjoy a drink.
