Decent pub, refurbished a few years ago so the interior is now quite modern but nothing over the top. Great before Forest matches but I imagine it struggle a bit during the week due to its location. The food always looks good, although I’ve never tried it, and the drinks are fairly priced.

Serves real ales! Has an outdoor patio area for the summer, has sports on the TV and is a must after any Forest/​County match.
Can get rowdy after matches so probably not the best place to come if you’re not into that, or have kids with you for instance after the recent Forest vs Derby match there were a number of police officers videoing people as they went in great bar service though and a really good selection of ales.
