Its all about who can pile the most on a plate ‚
Blimey why do they do that five a day all in one go
Its a good meat and vegetables service you queue up and it does get busy
.They have a choice of meats which vary every day ‚
You can add a starter
or/​and a dessert for an extra £1 each so you end up making it a round sum of £10 then there’s the drink depends if your driving, soft drink is available at around 70p upwards depends again on bottle or still .
There is a Travelodge attached to this carvery .
£29 a room but there’s extras to add depending if you book first, the car park its not all that big but you can park on elk mill across the way and walk over, via a subway and crossing
If you want to you can make a day of it ‚

Great food, mediocre service.
The carvery is excellent. A choice of 4 different meats. I had gammon & turkey, both were delicious. A good selection of fresh (not frozen) vegetables. They even had 2 different kinds of mashed potato, 2 different kinds of roast potatoes and 4 different gravies.
So the service. Waited too long to be seated when there were plenty of tables available. Waited too long for drinks. Waited too long to pay. There seemed to be a lot of staff but few of them doing any meaningful work. One lady seemed to have the job of rearranging dirty glasses on a tray!
The quality of the food would definitely make me revisit. Hopefully next time the service will be a bit better.

I recently called in this branch of Toby Carvery, having heard quiet a lot about the company and their gluten free «menu», which includes specially gluten free made desserts, however I certainly wasn’t filled with gluten free joy here, and instead the opposite, I felt like the staff didn’t understand gluten free and I really didn’t feel confident eating here.
I originally taken a look at the gluten free list, before coming in, and I hoped to grab a pie, so I ordered my drinks while I waited, having only came in because I was hungry and wanted something to eat.
The staff told me that they no longer offered it, and constantly were running between the kitchen, other customers and me, as they really didn’t have the knowledge they should, and they basically told me about the list, which was totally outdated.
The staff went on to try and get me something to eat, however they went on to offer me gluten foods such as sausages, and when I asked «Wow, they’re gluten free then?, she simply said She didn’t know. Offering me foods when mentioning I’m gluten free and gluten makes me ill, which contained gluten, and she didn’t know was disgraceful, and I basically had 2 servers, who simply didn’t know what to offer me.
The staff also seemed to me to be very slow service, which meant waiting a reasonable about of time, for answers to basic questions, which were often the expected answers, or she just walked off or simply offered me the wrong things.
I decided to just settle for my coffee and go, hoping my vanilla latte would be quite nice, after it being recommended by my server, however it wasn’t very nice, it was far too sweet and had a horrid flavour, like it was cheap coffee and overloaded with flavouring syrup in such a small glass (the glass wasn’t very small but for what flavouring syrup they put in, it was)
Due to the complaints procedure with head office, not going very well, which Head office didn’t seem to care about, and just passed me down to the store, who didn’t offer a great selection, I feel I can’t give more than 1 star, especially considering the menu being outdated and the staff offering me foods, that would have made me very ill before checking first.
If you have special dietary requirements, or even don’t really want carvery, I’d strongly suggest avoiding here.

Toby Carvery Oldham is situated just off the motorway. Next door to travelodge. Only £5.99 gets you the carvery. They have 4 meats to choose from and the home-​made Yorkshire pudding is to die for. Five vegetables including red cabbage as well as home made stuffing, both mashed and roasted potatoes. Three different kinds of gravy and all the condiment sauces on the side. If you’ve never been it’s worth giving this place a try, has a quality edge to it compares to slightly cheaper chains

The Chadderton Park inn is a «Toby Cavery». A great price (if you go before 7pm) to fill your plate with an assortment of meats (turkey, roast beef & honey & mustard glazed gammon), veg & a giant Yorkshire pudding.
Next time I visit I will learn from my mistakes as I first thought it was all you can eat but it’s only the veg & yorkshire puddings that is all you can eat.
Unlimited Pepsi is also included for a small price.

Well winter is now on our doorstep, and if you enjoy a nice relaxed quiet surrounding, with a tasty roast dinner well this is the place for you, good value for money and the food is spot on only £5 mon — fri, for a plate of belly warming grub mmm suitable for all the family, young or old.

This is probably not my first choice of place to eat out, but if you want decent food for a decent price then you can’t go far wrong here really. Good location just off the motorway, and the staff are great and offer good service. The place itself is clean and nice, and I would particularly recommend going down here on a Sunday for the carvery itself as that’s what it’s all about really and they do it well. The meat is delicious and the servings plentiful, you really can fill your boots! They also offer some really nice desserts for after.
