Great Pizzas, however rude guy there today…19.15 hours …told to come back in 40 mins, then told he was wanted to close 10 mins before. He couldn’t be bothered to make a pizza! Not good.

A Nice little gem to Nugent Park site since arriving 2 years ago as there was only Nando’s, M&S Café and a coffee shop to chose from (not much of a selection if you work nearby). The Pizzas are made in an authentic clay oven for the best taste taking around 6 – 8 mins to prepare and has seating for about 6 – 8 people inside plus tables and chairs outside, the selection of pizzas available are also good and you can customise your own, other regular items available from Coffee, Tea and soft canned drinks with a nice selection of cakes too if you have a sweet tooth! so if you are ever in the Orpington area (Nearest train station is St. Mary Cray with a 7 – 10 min walk) then you MUST check out this place as there isn’t a local Pizza place in the Nugent Park area, plus they do a loyalty card so after 6 Pizzas the 7^th one is FREE! plus the owner is Italian and always chatty and warming.

Overall, this shopping centre is a madhouse. However, they have recently been working to improve it, namely by putting a light filter in place so people can easily get in and out of the centre. However, the gem, is the use of an old shipping container that is placed just as you come into the centre.
Inside this shipping container is 1889 Pizza. A great use of the space that makes authentic stonebaked pizzas right there in the container. There are about ten different pizza options, including a calzone, and they are delicious! You have the option to eat in (either at the outside tables or their enclosed counter space at the far end of the container) or takeaway.
The pizzas were so fresh, took only a few minutes to prepare in the oven and the chefs are all very experienced. It shows! This is definitely going to be a regular for us as it is well priced, convenient and overall, delicious!!!
