Fleece Hotel

My enjoyment of this pub may have been helped by the fact that it was a lovely sunny day, we sat outside, I was hungover, and they had food, but simply putting it down to that would be an injustice to the pub.
The staff were really friendly and the choice and quality of the food was excellent, there is a large range of different options on the menu, and they also range in size, so you can pop in for a snack, or have a large extravagant meal.
They serve some good beer from the Wharfebank brewery, and some guest ales and those that I tried were well kept.
When we went (Saturday afternoon in July) there was a BBQ (cheaper than the food menu) and some kegs of beer, the lower tier of the sizeable and recently refurbished beer garden which runs down to the river was given over to activities for children, although it was quiet when we were there, but there is also an upper tier with plenty of tables. There is also a car park.
Will definitely be visiting again.

Nearly made a visit got into the car park but the advertised ‘garden’ was shut so moved on. Hope the Brewery is better run than this pub garden closed in the middle of August.

The Wharfedale brewery have done a terriffic job here. It’s a 5 minute hike from the traffic lights but try it out.

The fleece is a pub located about a 5 min walk out of the centre of Otley. It is a friendly atmosphere with local beers. A traditional type of pub.
