There are lots of places like this in Oxford, doing rice and noodle dishes at a pretty good price with quick service and a comfortable environment. That’s not a criticism though — it may not be hugely original, but that’s surely a sign of a good idea, and it’s great to have restaurants spread throughout a city. It’s Chinese/Japaneseso stir fried meet and veg and all things spicey and nice. This place used to have a bad reputation, but has since been taken over, so do give it another go if you’ve been before and weren’t too put off. However, it should still come with a bit of a warning if you’re strictly vegetarian, as I’ve heard several stories of people finding bits of meet in their food.

Rating des Ortes: 4 Oxford, United Kingdom
This place appears to be under new ownership, having previously been run(and staffed) by the same people who ran Café Orient and Café Opium in the city centre. The service here is generally quick although it can get busy and you may have to wait for a seat(a shorter wait if you don’t mind sharing a table with others). The food is good, and does not seem to be too laden with MSG. The menu is smaller than it used to be, but there is a reasonable mix and the fried rice dishes are a cheap way to fill up a hungry tummy!
