Primark Stores

Quite possibly the cheapest clothing store in Oxford, which isn’t very hard to do. Surprisingly large store actually, with a lot to offer. Of course that includes the clothes all over the floor from countless inconsiderate potential buyers and their children trying on the fluffy slippers before discarding them exactly where they took them off. If you like Primark and can live with the guilt of child labour, then this Primark is a lot better than others around the country.

So the first thing to get me about Oxford was how expensive everything was… I mean charging 3 bucks for a map of Oxford at the information center? C’MON. I thought those things were usually free. Anyway, Primark is literally the equivalent of like a Target in the US, which is awesome. Sweaters for around 15 bucks, home accessories for cheap, too. If you’re looking for duvets, throws, pillows, etc., Primark should be at the top of your list. They have a lot of clearance deals too! Random fact: they currently sell fun, wintry onesies on the second floor. Perfect for doing snow dances in whilst enjoying a piping hot mug of hot chocolate.

Dieser Laden war bei meinem Besuch gerappelt voll. Es war zwar auch Samstag, aber bei den Schlangen an den Umkleidekabinen und Kassen konnte einem schon schwindelig werden…
Bei Preisen von 1 – 3 Pfund für ein Shirt oder Top, habe ich dann nach «Sichtprüfung» der Größe die Umkleidekabine übersprungen — gepasst haben die Sachen auch ohne Anprobe prima :-)
An der Kasse war ich dann (nach dem Schlangestehen) begeistert wie günstig eine gutegefüllte Einkaufstasche sein kann!
Für Leute, die bei H&M gern einkaufen, werden auch von dieser Konkurrenzkette angetan sein!

La mode à petit prix !
Primark est désormais très connu de tous ceux qui fréquentent un minimum le Royaume-​Uni.
Ces magasins proposent des tenues qui collent à la mode en reprenant (voire copiant, c’est selon votre point de vue) des modèles de grands couturiers et en les vendant à très bas prix.
La production de masse leur permet de réduire les coûts et donc de proposer des vêtements tendance à des prix défiant toute concurrence.
Ce magasin à Oxford propose sur une énorme surface un très grand rayon femme au rez de chaussée et à l’étage des rayons homme et enfant.
Bonnes affaires assurées !

A decent sized shop with lots of trendy and chic clothing at affordable prices. This store in Oxford are twice the size of the Reading store and it had an upper floor as well. The ladies department occupies pretty much the whole of ground floor and the men’s, kids, and home are all upstairs.
The slection of clothes and goods are good and you can get something to fir every budget. They were having a sale recently and i got 3 very lovely looking shirts marked down to £1 which was great.
The staff are polite and helpful as well, which makes it a nice shopping experience. Primark is definitely the place to go if you want to buy clothes on a tight budget.

With all the fuss about slave labour and Primark’s involvement I thought that people would stop shopping here for clothes and home items. But they still go and shop here in their droves.
The clothes in Primark are really cheap and reasonably well made and the cost is such that if the item fails then it is probably cheaper to just buy a new one. In these days of economy, Primark is still a market leader for competitive value.
Their bargain towels can’t really be beaten for the price. Perfect value for anyone on a tight budget.

It’s cheap. It’s well-​stocked if you’re a size 12, or a child. It’s bright, busy, and did I mention cheap? If you’re in the market for half a dozen interchangeable tshirts or cheap kids clothes, it’s great. I would not recommend it for anything you expect to have a long life — office clothing, for instance — as the quality just doesn’t stand up to hard wear and repeated laundry, but if disposable clothing doesn’t bother you, it’s great.
Occasional gems turn up in here, and it’s not worth writing it off completely, but I don’t buy anything I want to last from here.

Primark. What can I say. Home of the cheap and cheerful clothes. I have bought many an item in here and some of it has lasted a reasonable amount of time for such a small out lay, this is a god send for students, teenagers and mums on a limited income. My son (age 9) loves choosing his t-​shirts (one to four quid) and the trousers are not a bad fit! He can be fashionable on his pocket money!
It can be uncomfortably busy at the weekends so pick your time wisely

This is a massive Primark and is absolutely bursting with fabulous bargains! It is spread out over two floors, with both esculators and lifts allowing easy access between the two.
The ground floor includes a very wide range of ladies wear, shoes, accessories, and body and bath toiletries; while upstairs houses the men’s range along with lingerie, ladies night wear, the children’s section and homewear.
Prices are unbelievably cheap, and this should always be the first port of call when looking for a new outfit without breaking your budget.
Staff are often busy and there can be queues at busy times. However the clothes are well labelled and well displayed, making it easy to find what you are looking for in the size you need. Definitely worth taking a look if you are nearby.
