Apparently Rosebys is a chainstore, but I’ve only ever noticed it in Oxford. It was in an emergency: new house, cold bed, no hot water bottle. I bought a fleecy underblanket: straight in, easy to find, does the job wonderfully. Since then, I’ve been back for various bits of bed linen, which are very reasonably priced(£20-£35 for kingsize duvet covers, £10-£20 for single) and much better quality than the equivalents from somewhere like Argos. They do some good Egyptian cotton sheets, and although nothing’s very fancy, it feels nice going to a slightly more specialist shop, rather than traipsing round a department store. They also do some nice cushions and throws, and some less exciting bath towels, shower curtains, etc.
