We have known Ian an Jenny for only 5 months but whenever we go to Penzance now we always pop in for a drink an snack, we have never been disappointed, I have to say Ian, s poached eggs on toast are delici
ous, it truly is like popping in to see family, Ian an Jenny are such a hard working, friendly, lovely couple, nothing is too much trouble for them. we attended their wedding today, it was amazing, congratulations to you both, we love you both dearly, Val an Bill (like my tea strong) xx

When in Penzance you just must pop in to the Victorian Tea Rooms for morning coffee, afternoon tea or a hot meal.
This café has recently changed hands and nothing is too much trouble for the couple who run it or their equally friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely home-​made cakes and scones, speciality teas and freshly made sandwiches plus hot meals which are up to 6.00 in the evening.
Their ‘Afternoon Tea’ is very good value sandwiches and scones or cakes served on an old-​fashioned cake stand or their ‘Cream Tea’ 2 home-​baked scones, jam and clotted cream.
My husband really enjoyed their toasted tea-​cakes which were served with plenty of butter whilst I must recommend the Cornish (!) Earl Grey Tea and the carrot cake or the scones and the home-​made chocolate flapjacks were a delight.

Great cream teas, super sandwiches and high teas. Good and attentive service. A tea room I would definitely recommend.

Really good for cream teas (and coffees). Large, handmade scones with plenty of fresh cream and jam. Pot of tea served in china cups and even a pot of coffee (rather than a single cup that leaves you wanting more). Worth a visit.
