Grass Roots Festival

Things are looking very promising for this years festy, with plans to make GrassRoots 2008 as good as and better than 2006. There are loads of surprises planned, musically as well as artistically, and not forgetting the randomness and pleasantness of being in a field with all your best friends some of whom you haven’t even met yet.
Stages include the Circuit Tree (Arising like a phoenix from the ashes of change, a new concept for the future of sound will be unleashed in the form of the electronic stage named the CIRCUIT TREE); The Drawing Room (To provide a fully equipped, interactive environment in which people can make music); The Freedom Stage (The Freedom Stage will present a diverse line-​up of live bands — a place for freedom of expression and speech where perceived boundaries relating to genres, scenes, demographics, social backgrounds and class can dissolve leaving nothing but a collective smile experiencing pure humanity); Poetry and Comedy; Grasshopper Kids Area; Breathe Easy; Irie Stylie Solar Stage and ‘Playpen Dance Tent’.
The NO: ID gallery will be present with exhibition, workshops, and performances, in their own space.
