Matalan

Good value and some nice bits, you just have to rummage for them but worth it!

You have to be in the right mood to visit Matalan especially if you are planning to go at a busy time or during the sales. The shop can be messy at the best of times but when the sales are on or it is the Christmas rush it is an absolute nightmare, there are clothes thrown all over the place and nothing is where it should be. They have a fairly big row of tills which should be enough but service is very slow especially as they insist on everybody having a Matalan card which don’t seem to actually do anything apart from slow service down because they are constantly sorting out temporary account numbers for people without cards. Despite this, if you have the patience, Matalan really is worth a look round, they have some great discounts on good ranges of underwear, the homeware department has some lovely items and although the clothing is a bit hit and miss you can get some really nice pieces at very good prices. There is lots of free parking although getting into the carpark when it is busy is a nightmare as it is poorly designed.

Horrible place, clothes are dis interesting, cheap and not very stylish. The actual shop isnt so bad some of the bargain homeware stuff they sell is purchaseable but thats it.

Great store. It sells clothes and homeware. The clothes are fashionable and very cheap. The homeware is very good quality and cheeap. The store is large and bright. The staff are very efficient and pleasant.
