This is a good pub. If you take one thing away from this review. Stop here.
It is also a very odd pub. In a good way.
The menu (s) are huge, with one bar snack menu (which is actually good pub food, not really snacks) and a la carte menu. Which looked good but we all fancied pub grub…
Food was actually really good. Which was surprising for such a large menu! But we were all happy.
The ambience is very mixed. Entered into a weird, low end pub feel. Walked through a more mid range pub atmosphere. Ate in this bit, next to a restaurant style room. Very odd. But fun!
Their style seems to be anything goes. I like that. But it’s not very sleek if you like that kind of thing.
I recommend going here. For a pint or for food. But not for a fancy meal…
