W M Morrison Supermarkets

We switched to our local Morrison’s from a well-​known superstore to do our weekly shop and we’re not disappointed, having saved masses of money on multi-​buy offers. It’s not huge but has everything we need. The staff are always friendly, even the security guard! Double check special offer labels though — they don’t always match to the shelf above … check the serial number if you have to :-) We’re sure that the petrol prices are the cheapest as well.

Morrisons is located on Lincoln Road in Peterborough and took over from Safeway’s a few years ago.
It is a very large store with plenty of variety. It often gets very busy, however it is fully staffed which means that queues remain fairly low.
With a large carpark and located next to a big retail park, it is an excellent place to do your grocery, DIY and electrical shopping.

Morrisons on Lincoln Road Peterborough is the old Safeway. It is a good sized store with plenty of parking, cash dispenser, café, dry cleaners, petrol station.
The trollys take a pound coin which I often find annoying as Im often out with only my credit card but at least it means that theyre not dumped in the carpark!
I find myself visiting Morrisons usually after seeing an advert for something I buy on offer as they do seem to have very good offers on constantly.
There is also a good selection of non foods and is worth a trip.

Morrison’s in Stamford I feel is one of the most competitively priced supermarkets in Stamford and there always seems to be constant offers available with something on offer to suit most people.
With a very large car park available to customers there is always a place to park even when the store is busy. Take a pound coin for the trolleys though.
Inside the store there is a very good café and customer toilets. There is always a very wide selection of products available and the shelves are kept well stocked.
The in store butchers is fantastic and the meat quality is superb. The Butcher is on hand during daytime hours to cut joints and serve on the counter and the open plan style lets you see the cleanliness of the meat prep area which is spotless.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and I have never had a bad experience in this store.

Its a great morrisons. Its a very good size, I can usually get parked with my baby, well stocked, and cheap petrol on the way out. Being a modern store its well lit, well staffed, well stocked and is a pleasure to shop at, which makes a nice change. Its also easy to get to being right near one of the main routes into Peterborough. They also have a garage which is usually one of the most competitive places for petrol and diesel in Peterborough. And they have plenty of pumps meaning you don’t have to sit there for too long before you can fill up, pay and be on your way. Keeps other garages on their toes.

Good value supermarket. It has a petrol station, free ample parking with disabled and mother and baby spaces. It has a café, toilets with baby change and if you forget your nappy they will help out. The supermarket is well laid out and well stocked.
