This is the biggest library in the area with loads of books, a music centre and free internet access. The staff can be quire cold and impersonal, and dont seem to be that friendly — whilst there is loads of books here, it is hard to find what you want and the not so friendly staff dont excalty make it easy for you to approach them for help.

An excellent selection of books, but the staff are often impersonal and cold. There’s free internet access, and the new books of the week are on a stand when you go in, so if you pop in once or twice a week you can keep on top of what’s new. Books that are ‘in the stack’ can be ordered and collected when taken out of storage a few hours later. As with all libraries, there’s a sense of ‘shhh’ in this one. There are always a selection of old stock for sale, which is interesting to peruse, and I have picked up a few good autobiographies here. All in all, it’s not as friendly as the smaller local branches, but has way more selection to choose from.

Very friendly helpful staff. Has free internet access and a good selection of books although it can sometimes be hard to find what you are looking for.

I think this library reminds me of a very typical library found decades ago — i think it is in need of some TLC — it seems a little run down and cold. But the staff are very friendly and ask if they can help you find something — they seem approachable which means alot. I think the library needs more organised rows of books as they seem a little everywhere.
