Dates back to the 16th cent full of original features. Sells up to five real ales mostly local but kept in good condition. Bit of a music venue.

Old style pub in very old street but sadly hacked about a bit inside. Sometimes very good atmosphere. Beer quality varies.

This is a lovely old pub on a slope near the Barbican area of Plymouthwood beams all over the pub look greatthis is a proper pub. and from the chatter a locals one toogood find. There are lots of local pictures round the walls.
The beers were good, Doom Bar, Tribute and Abbot. personally it was a shame that they only had beers that are common in London but I love Tribute so I was too busy slurping to really worry about this.
Music is provided in the form of a Juke box.

This is reported as being the oldest pub in Plymouth and it certainly looks like it. It is small but friendly, although probably more suited to students. Good atmosphere.
