A bit cheesy, and it’s always empty, so there’s very little atmosphere. However, staff are friendly and the food is always good. At least the emptiness means that service is speedy. There’s also a lovely view of Southside Street from the windows.

This restaurant is well located on the Barbican with firendly staff and a good value lunch menu. The pasta was excellent with good size portions however the pizza was not cooked properly, the cheese was barely melted, there was no excuse for this as there were only four of us in the restaurant so it wasn’t busy. The food in the evening is more expensive but the portions are larger and when I have visited in the evenings it has been better quality. The décor is a bit over the top, it is completely painted with a roman mural and tacky pictures which spoils it a bit. Could definately do with some modernisation and a revamp. Not the best italian restaurant in town.
