Lovely food and great setting. So much choice, I struggled to decide what to have. Everyone’s food looked great. Service time was good given it was really busy.

Loud, but nice place, good cocktails.

Lovely picturesque location, slightly over priced but this reflects the decent clientele. Service is slightly above average and the place can have a kind of cold feeling. The drinks are obviously well kept. Ideal venue for a meal somewhere between pub lunch and a slap up meal.

Seco Lounge serves a wide range of food, cakes, tapas, coffee, beer and cocktails. In short, there really is something here for everyone. At night time the whole place is lit up with candles in a cosy and personable air, which is romantic, comfortable, classy and relaxed.
I’m a massive fan of everything that this little local ‘chain’ of cafes/​bars has to offer. The Lounge Bars are a wonderful invention, and I look forward to them spreading all over in a Starbucks-​like rash. Yay for expansion.
One of my favourite things about this chain of cafes is the interior design. It’s completely to my taste; think old churchy interiors with cosy sofas, candles and chit chat-​able tables.
The food and drinks here are wonderful; slightly on the expensive side, perhaps, but I’ve always found that it’s worth every penny. A choice selection. Go and enjoy.

Wonderful setting and nicely designed, spacious and relaxed. The service was attentive and personal but the quality of the food cost them the 5^th star. It was certainly flavoursome but 4 out of 6 dishes were a lttle dry. Don’t let this put you off though — we still had a lovely evening and will return.

Yet to prove itself but the signs are good. Opened in about April 2010 in the ground floor of one of the huge impressive buildings of the former Royal William Victualling Yard that for one and a half centuries provided the food and drink for all of the Royal naval ships based at Devonport. Situated right beside the water of small loading basin and with a spectacular view across the wide estuary and back onto the southern end of the dockyard this brasserie has become the trendy new place to drink and snack in the city. Its advantage is its site and the novelty but there are parking and staffing problems. The parking is limited and often full. There are insufficient or maybe badly organised staff at busy times. We have twice had to join a queue of a couple of dozen in order to get a seat or order food or drink and each time were told the ‘food wait’ was at least an hour. Well decorated and taking full advantage of the impressive building and view, they badly need to sort out the teething troubles or people will be put off. otherwise a welcome arrival.
