Whenever I’ve been the chips have always been cold. I’ve no idea why but this has always been the case, especially at lunch times. I don’t like returning food so I never bothered but will avoid this McDonald’s in future.
Avoid it at lunch times on a weekday (12ish) as it becomes incredibly busy because of the college nearby, and expect long and slow queues.
It is pretty clean and I’d prefer to eat here than most other places. The staff are friendly enough but the food isn’t as nice compared to other McDonald’s.

I went to this McDonalds a few weeks ago when travelling nearby and went for the big tasty meal, well tasty it wasn’t as it was wet and horrible and there was even a hair in my fries. This McDonalds is one of the filthiest and the staff are pretty useless too. Whilst it is the only one in the area drive another 5 mins to Castleford and go to that one, or KFC Pizza Hut or Burger King. This one is just vile and I won’t be going there again. The food is unlike any other McDonalds and not in a good way. Loos are quite smelly too.

service is good, food is of average quality for a McDonalds, but prefer the store in Castleford. Food is always hot and fresh, staff are very polite and courtise. definitely recommend! :o)

My children’s favourite place to eat! Happy Meals r us! It’s in the retail park with Netto, Curry’s, Wickes, a carpet place & Halfords. Opposite the racecourse. Can be busy. Staff friendly.
