I have to be honest. An acquaintance owns this place. Custom house is on Poole Quay. Downstairs is a chic kind of bar. Sofas, tiling, glass bar with illusions. It’s not huge but in summer everyone is outside anyway. Close to the water, I once got a complete frontal tan drinking here during lunch time. Up the double sweeping staircase(outside) leads to a tasteful restaurant which is fairly pricey. Dress a bit and fill the wallet a bit. French and fish seem to fill the menu.(I’ve only had the bar!). Breakfast is served until lunchtime… eggs benedict, the full monty, no lunch food as such. Recommend it for birthdays, anniversaries etc. Terric views over the harbour.

This fine building looks great and gives an excellent atmosphere, with high ceiling and whitewashed walls. Very friendly staff a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. would say their menu had a varid amount of light bites and a selection of more main meal. beautifully cooked and with large portions. not massively expensive what you would expect to pay. You have a great veiw of the harbour so sitting outside whren the weathers warm would be lovely. I came on a slighty more blowy day so chose to sit inside, would recommend this place to any one.
