If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. Alternatively, do it nice and do it twice… The Poole extension of Rockets and Rascals has taken the baton handed over by the flagship Plymouth branch and run with it.
I’ll be honest, I’m biased. I was a regular at the Plymouth store and will be here in Poole now I’m local. They are friendly, helpful, community minded, independent and generally pretty darned good. They brew coffee and build good bikes. They cater to mummies and pushchairs, tourists and hardcore cyclists looking for a caffeine fix. They are not cheap, but they are inexpensive. There is a subtle difference, and one which is worth the extra few pennies.
If you are looking for an eclectic café with good music, excellent food and outstanding coffee look no further. They even have regular rideouts and a loyalty card scheme. Bonus!
