The Courtyrad is a collection of converted stables that house various art studios/sales rooms and unusual collections for sale. Yesterday we went into ‘Over the Rainbow’, which is a plant nursery and a shop selling a little girl’s fairyland. I’ve always got to look around a nursery and I hadn’t been in this one for a while. It has changed hands. It’s is a good job it decided to pour with rain just as we got there, because many of the plants were dry, some had fallen over in the wind and there was a general feel of nobody having been there. The plants didn’t seem to be categorised, but I chose a convolvulus and another whose name escapes me, and ran into the shop. We were kindly invited to stay until the down pour finished, which we wanted to do and have a look around. When I got home, I was a bit sad to see how root bound the plants I’d bought were. At least they’ll thrive now.
