We were visiting parents in Penwortham, and needed a good curry. Looking on TripAdvisor, the number 1 and 2 restaurants in Preston were Indian. The number 1 is way up in Barton, but the other was close by in Hutton. So after a couple of pints at the next door Anchor, we went over for our reservation. It took a few minutes to be seated, but in the meantime we got drinks, and even put in our food order. So by the time we got to our table, the pappadums were headed our way. The chutney plate was excellent, but not much difference between the spicy and plain crisps. We also ordered the Saag Paneer and the Caulifower Bahji, both were very good. For our mains we got Chicken Korma and Lamb Tikka Vindaloo. The Korma was nicely sweet and creamy, and the Vindaloo had an excellent slow burn, contrasting each other nicely. We wiped them up with Paswari and Garlic /Coriander Naans which were divine. All and all an excellent dinner.
