With some comparable competition on the High Street, the Moon needn’t be too concerned. Terrific gardens at the rear, open spacious restaurant and a good selection of ales sees it in a position of some strength. Plenty of parking within short distances. Prices possibly a little up, but that’s life!

This is a really lively pub that attracts a good mix of young and old people which adds to a good atmosphere. There’s also some really comfortable leather sofas to sink into and relax. The food is fantastic and leans heavily towards the Italian side if things. It does it really well though, the pizzas are great and not too expensive at all. You have to try the Crispy bacon, sausage, egg, mushrooms & tomato one, really good choice for lunch. They have a nice big heated patio outside for us smokers which is always nice to see.
