You feel like you are in the country just a stones throw away from the grey.
I’ve been to lunch here many times — more so in the summer — and sit out in the garden and enjoy lunch and drinks. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the service has always been really good. There is a lovely feel to the place and it’s definitely up there for a warms summers evening and time with family or friends. Well priced.

Its a country pub with real character. It offers a very tasty menu that has offers from 2 pizzas 4 £10 2 a lunch/early evening 2 course fixed menu 4 £12.50.It has a large garden and sufficient parking. The only downside is they don’t offer a childrens menu

I’ve eaten here twice over the last year. The first time back in August my husband and I really enjoyed it. It was a lovely atmosphere, staff were very friendly and service was very quick and efficient. We visited again a few weeks later, and were sat in a different area of the restaurant. To begin with we were the only ones in the area and it felt like we were a bit excluded. Staff were still very friendly, although service was a bit slower not sure if we were forgotten! We also felt food wasn’t as good quality as our previous visit, and was not worth the above average prices. We’re hoping if we go again the standard will be back up to the level we had on our first visit.

Better than average food, but not as good as they think it is or the prices that they charge.
Service is always friendly and efficient and it is nice to have somewhere decent to eat in the village but could be so much better.
