Normally I would give this a 4 star review and to be honest. I think I would have done if i didn’t go so often. But this upstairs bar is still really nice, but like a lot of places it seems to loose its edge a bit. It has lost a little bit of its buzz. I like coming here as it is quite a cool little place. Especially walking in downstairs and seeing it all being made in the vats. I like the fact that even if your not actually into beer like my other half then its not seen to be frowned upon in a real beer bar. Personally the best time to go is about 2:30pm sunday, have a great Sunday lunch in Bury, get the steam train up to Ramsbottom and then head to here for a Pint and a half before your train back to Bury. Parking is nearby in small area but very limited around itself. Also due to the bar being upstairs its not disabled friendly which is a small dissapointment. Go and take a trip there. Take a picture, enjoy yourself. Have a Rhubarb and Rosehip cordial for me :)

This is a great little spot for beer lovers and definitely worth the trip to Ramsbottom. It’s a small tap room on top of the brewery with about eight or nine of their own beers on cask. There’s a wide range from pale ales to porters and stouts. You can also buy the bottles to take away(£3) and mini kegs which I think are about £20. Some snacks such as pies and sausage rolls are also available. But it is quite cosy with not too many tables so you may have to stand, share or grab a seat at the bar during busy periods. It has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere(dogs welcome too) so is definitely worth a visit.
