Bina Tandoori

Came here Tuesday night. They had been working on an interior update for the restaurant, so it looked unfinished, but that was no reflection on the food. Good solid Indian/​Bangladeshi cuisine, and definitely my go-​to place for this in the area. We had the lamb samosa to start, which was really meaty but the oil was literally dripping off it which was a bit of a turn-​off. However I did manage to eat it all! Next chicken korai (mild but tasty), chicken jalfrezi (more chilli heat and so more to my liking) & aloo gobi (over cooked so a bit squashy with not much flavour). Naan bread was lovely and the rice was good. Surfeit of staff, although I did have to stand up whenever I wanted to attract someone’s attention. All the tables are cubicle-​style, so the waiter would need to be near you to see you. We were in the corner so didn’t get much passing traffic. All in all, an acceptable experience. Have been here many times before, and will come back.

Really good Indian food. My new favorite choice for Indian in the Reading area. All the usual suspects in terms of entrée options and great service.

Lovely food, nice restaurant, décor etc, staff are good BUT it is overpriced.

Having read all the hyped about this restaurant, we decided to try it out. Although the place is decorated in a quite modern style, the food was over priced, water at £4! Service if terrible, waiters were miserable, and couldn’t understand English well! Food turned out to be a real disappointment, tika massala tasted so sweet, it might as well have been a desert!
All in all, it was terrible! A complete waste of money, might as well have had a supermarket Indian dinner pack for a fiver!

Our best Indian meal in Reading. Shame they don’t deliver but doesn’t stop us driving from earley to get the food. Frech, yummy and extras are a nice touch. The restaurant is great and staff really happy. Always get excited going to Bina and woul;d recommend to anyone. they even make up special dishes for you if you ask for it.

I’ve had a few meals out at Bina, and several takeaways.
The food is yummy (I was trying to think of something to single out here, but can’t, it was all nice!), really tasty; though some of the creamy sauces are a bit sweet (but that might just be my preference).
As a takeaway, it’s slightly less good, just because of the lovely presentation when you eat in.
Also, they give roses to ladies :)
