Good fish and chips. One star off for having run out of mushy peas, you are a business for goodness sake and should be able to anticipate an upcoming shortage and make provision. However, excellent fish and chips, served piping hot, almost perfect!

Whenever I’ve been feeling home sick and come back up North, nothing shakes that feeling quite like a meal at the Seaview.
The fish and chips are probably the best I’ve eaten outside of Whitby, actually they’re tied first with my favourites from there.
The batter is light and crispy, the fish fat and juicy, chips cooked to perfection with a fluffy middle. It’s making me hungry just thinking about it!
There’s a wonderful terrace upstairs that’s open in the Summer, with lovely views over the beach and out to sea. The restaurant also offers take away, so you can sit an enjoy them on the beach or pier on warmer days.

Restaurant set on the front at Saltburn close to the bottom of the cliff railway.
Beautiful fresh cod with good chips. Batter light and crispy. Delicious washed down with a cup of tea. Service friendly and attentive.

Came down to saltburn for a sunday arfternoon. The seaview is a restaurant with chippy on the side. A bit of a que but worth the wait. Average price £4.90 for fish & chips. Seating around the seafront & it’s located right beside the carpark which is free on a Sunday.
