Don’t do it! My mum picked this for her belated birthday dinner(I offered her somewhere a bit more classy, but nooooo) and I wasn’t too disappointed as we’d been previously, on a whim, and it was pretty decent for buffet fare. The quality of food was definitely not up to scratch this time. The noodles were flavourless, the… what else did I have? Genuinely, it was so unmemorable I couldn’t tell you. Oh, the sushi! Awful, just awful. Dry, chewy and lacking in flavour. About the only decent thing was the fritters. And the soft drinks were extortionate too! Nah, just don’t do it.

This place is complete crap. I went in with my friends on a Sunday to try out the«Carvery», and everything taste like CRAP. And the«Carvery» was a joke, it was canned Turkey, sliced it some sauce, and that was it for the carvery. I did not like one item there but the soft serve ice cream, that was on par with most buffets. Do not eat here it is crap.

My brother and I were treating out dad to a wee lunch and this was handy cos he lives not too far away from this place. I was so glad he opted for this restaurant over the other ones in xscape(or soar or whatever it’s called now)! Maybe it’s a woman thing, but I was in one of those«I need food, any food, lots of different kinds of food, and I want a LOT of it» kinda moods. Hormonal maybe? Or just a greedy bitch day! Who cares! This joint is all you can eat for £6.99 during the day and I was gonna make the most of it. First of all, the starters. Now bearing in mind, this is 2.30 on a Tuesday afternoon so I really wasn’t expecting much of a choice. I need not have worried, this is a world buffet just like the well known cook and indies world buffet. There’s Italian, Indian, Thai, mexican, Chinese, and good old beef stew with veg if that’s your bag. The kids have the usual fish fingers, smiley faces and chips. Although I’m quite partial to a wee fish finger myself now and again so I tried one of those as well. Well I did say, greedy pig day! The food was actually lovely. I say that as if I’m surprised, and to be honest, I am. I’m often wary of buffet places cos I always expect poor quality. It’s a kinda«get what you pay for thing», but it was just lovely. The staff are pleasant and attentive without bugging you every 10 mins. So all in all, happy full tummies all round. I’m worryingly looking forward to my next hormonal episode. Eeeeek!
