Inside Out Retreats

Inside Out Retreats stands where Presence and Presents used to be. For anyone Richmond residents who remember, this shop sold crystals and also had an alternative clinic upstairs. I was surprised to see that it had gone, but Inside Out Retreats more than makes up for it. It is essentially the same format, but to a better degree.
It is beautifully laid out, and so tranquil. There is not a huge selection of crystals here, but the ones they have are extremely good quality. I saw some amethyst stones here which are called ‘Dragons Eggs’, named because they are tumbled to the extent that they look as smooth as an egg. Towards the back of the shop is a selection of meditation mats and cushions which are all made from beautiful silk patchworks. They also stock an extensive amount of Dr Hauschka here.
Upstairs is where the alternative treatments take place. They include healing massage, counselling through visualisation and raindrop therapy. The owner (who also does some of the treatments), was friendly and welcoming, so much so that I had to fight the urge to set up cross legged on one of the meditation cushions and set up home!
